Details

The little piece that holds it all together.

Designed and 3D printed by us at Anatomie, our Vac-U-Lock compatible adapter is the same one we fit to our Joy Sticks — now available on its own. Pair it with any Vac-U-Lock insertable: it pops on and off in seconds, making cleaning (and swapping) refreshingly simple.

Perfect as a spare, a replacement, or for your own DIY project — fit it to a pole, a mount, or whatever you're building at home.

Printed in PLA with a M8 threaded wood screw.

Please note: insertables are not included — the adapter is compatible with any standard Vac-U-Lock attachment.

Care & storage

Surface fuzz is normal. New jute develops a layer of fine fuzz. Some people singe this off; you can also brush it off with a coir brush, or just allow it to shed naturally with use. It's part of the breaking-in phase every jute rope goes through and not a defect.

Keep it dry. Jute is a natural fibre doesn't love being damp. If you can, we recommend airing your ropes out after use by hanging them. If your ropes do get wet you'll need to hang them under tension.

Re-oil when it dries out. Over time and use, jute loses some of the oils and will start to feel stiff and brittle. Re-treat the ropes with a jute-suitable oil (camellia/tsubaki oil is standard, jojoba oil is also very popular). How often you'll need to treat your ropes depends on how often you use it, whether it's used on skin or clothing and also the climate.

FAQs

Will this work with my existing Vac-U-Lock toys?

Yes — the adapter is compatible with any standard Vac-U-Lock attachment, from Doc Johnson originals to third-party insertables that use the system. It pops on and off in seconds. (Insertables aren't included — this is just the adapter itself.)

How does it attach to my project?

The adapter has an M8 threaded wood screw that comes with it, so it screws directly into wood — a pole, a mount, a bench, whatever you're building. For other materials you may need a pilot hole or an M8-compatible fitting. It's the exact same adapter we fit to our Joy Sticks.

What is it made of? Is it body-safe?

The adapter is 3D printed in PLA, a sturdy plant-based plastic (and yes, it's vegan). It doesn't come into direct contact with the body during use — it sits inside the Vac-U-Lock cavity of your attachment, which is what touches skin. Your insertable's own material and cleaning guidance is what matters for body contact.

How strong is it? Will it break?

It's the same adapter we've fitted to our Joy Sticks, so it's tested in exactly this kind of use. PLA is rigid and strong under normal play conditions. Avoid leaving it somewhere hot (a car in summer, near radiators), as PLA can soften with sustained heat.

Does the colour matter?

Purely cosmetic — pick your favourite. The colour is mostly hidden once an attachment is fitted anyway.
